You are doing great! I was just browsing the site and liked what you are doing. I know how hard writing is! Let your friends and family know! They should be proud too that you are writing! (And contribute $ too!)

Goal

This is the campaign page for my writing project. This campaign helps motivate me because not only am I achieving my dream but I'm also helping raise money for At The Crossroads to benefit homeless youth in San Francisco.

I'm committing to write 1000 words per day until the end of September, or until I finish the rough draft of this novel that I've begun writing. This is a big goal for me but I believe I can do it. In fact, as I post this I've already logged nearly 10% of the progress toward my goal. Support me with either a friendly message or especially with a contribution to At The Crossroads, so I'll have more at stake to motivate me to complete my goal.

I chose this goal because

I've wanted to write a book since I was a child but it's something I've never tried -- until now. I want to see if I can actually complete writing a rough draft. Getting my project to that stage will go a long way to fulfilling my dream.

Plus, any donations that I can raise towards my goal will help me see this as a contribution to society and to homeless youth, and not only as a contribution to my personal goal.

I'm helping because

I think At The Crossroads is doing really important work to help homeless youth in San Francisco. I went to an ATC event about a year ago and was impressed with them.

I'm not employed or earning any money right now so my contribution to ATC is very modest, but if you are able to donate please don't let my small contribution hold you back!

About At The Crossroads

ATC walks the streets of San Francisco, reaching out to homeless youth and young adults on their turf. We work with young people who others have given up on, who would not get help without us. Since we started 13 years ago, we have worked with more than 5,000 youth, helping them build outstanding lives.
