We Think Lynne Can
Support Lynne's Leave Work On Time Campaign while helping homeless youth
Goal
My goal is to leave work ON TIME at least one day per week so that I can walk 2-5 miles before evening falls
I chose this goal because
I have chosen this goal because I am focused on improving my overall well-being
I'm helping because
Initially I was introduced to At The Crossroads by my daughter Shawn-Andrea Garety, who is the Program Manager for the organization. The service that ATC provides to our community is invaluable. As an educator in the Bay Area for over 35 years, I know that many of our children are trying to survive on the streets with limited support and few healthy resources or choices. To have an agency that embraces these young men and women and offers them a second chance through support, encouragement, and hope is so important. I admire the staff for their incredible work and passion. I hope that my campaign will help to support and enhance these efforts
About At The Crossroads
ATC walks the streets of San Francisco, reaching out to homeless youth and young adults on their turf. We work with young people who others have given up on, who would not get help without us. Since we started 13 years ago, we have worked with more than 5,000 youth, helping them build outstanding lives.
