Goal

To raise $2500 for a great cause. :-)

I chose this goal because

I want 2009 to be a great year for At The Crossroads!

I'm helping because

Every time I interact with the folks at At The Crossroads, I'm consistently impressed with their dedication and sincerity. Their mission is to help homeless teens and young adults build healthy and fulfilling lives, and what I think really makes them stand out, beyond what many other organizations are doing, is their commitment to sending a message of caring and respect. Whether it's providing new rather than used clothing, or making sure each client has a handmade card and home baked treats for the holidays, they take every opportunity to let their clients know that they are valued.

Anyway, this organization is awesome. Please watch the ATC Documentary http://www.atthecrossroads.org/videos/ ) and check out their website to get an overview of how they have been helping the community for the last ten years, and then please donate whatever you can afford. Thanks so much for your support!

About At The Crossroads

ATC walks the streets of San Francisco, reaching out to homeless youth and young adults on their turf. We work with young people who others have given up on, who would not get help without us. Since we started 13 years ago, we have worked with more than 5,000 youth, helping them build outstanding lives.
