Goal
I'm raising money for At the Crossroads, please help me.
I chose this goal because
At the Crossroads does what the government should -- instead of building bombs and destroying homes in places most can't find on the map, it helps homeless youth get jobs and onto their feet.
I'm helping because
It makes me sick when I walk through San Francisco and see individuals without shelter. I'd like to do whatever I can to address this problem. It should be taken as an insult that, in the richest country on Earth, we have people in our midst that sleep on the streets and in muni stops because they slip through the cracks of society.
About At The Crossroads
ATC walks the streets of San Francisco, reaching out to homeless youth and young adults on their turf. We work with young people who others have given up on, who would not get help without us. Since we started 13 years ago, we have worked with more than 5,000 youth, helping them build outstanding lives.
