that was a fun football game today. I watched at The Elixir. Knew I wouldn't be seeing you there! I like your goals, know you will achieve them, and I really like the cause. if I had a job I'd donate more :-) Let's catch up soon David. Grab a hemp shake somewhere or something ;-)

Goal

I have a few goals. Beginning the first week of January I've pledged to give up processed food, sugars/candy/chocolate, caffeine, beer and hard alcohol, and beginning March 1 I will be running a mile with an additional mile each day until March 17. I'm also pledging to get back to my high school/college weight of 180 lbs

I chose this goal because

I chose this goal for a few reasons. One being that my doctor wants me to go on medication for high cholesterol but I simply do not want to be on any medications. I also have no desire to support the pharmaceutical industry in any way. I like challenges, particularly health and fitness challenges.

I'm helping because

The ATC group gave an inspiring speech at the Mission Cycling Christmas party. Just a nice group of people trying to help others in a situation that is such a large problem in San Francisco

About At The Crossroads

ATC walks the streets of San Francisco, reaching out to homeless youth and young adults on their turf. We work with young people who others have given up on, who would not get help without us. Since we started 13 years ago, we have worked with more than 5,000 youth, helping them build outstanding lives.
