Goal
I'd like your help in raising funds to purchase new socks for homeless youth this holiday season! At a minimum, I would like to raise $1500 to purchase over 2000 pairs of socks - ideally, I'd like to double this goal! So, Sock it To Me! and make a donation today! 100% of all proceeds raised from this campaign will be used to purchase new socks...
I chose this goal because
Having worked with indigent youth, I know firsthand that the smallest things sometimes make the biggest difference. Generally, socks are one of the most popular items ATC distributes, and during the winter season, demand for this item significantly increases. As a result, I would like to raise additional funds to supplement their effort to meet increasing demand.
I'm helping because
I am passionate about working with and on the behalf of homeless and at-risk youth. As a proud member of At The Crossroads' board of directors, this campaign is about continuing to support our youth because I genuinely care about continuing to make a difference. I know the importance of having no agenda, other than being there because you genuinely care and want to help or just listen. Every day the team at ATC makes a difference in the life of homeless and at-risk youth and I am proud to support their efforts!
About At The Crossroads
ATC walks the streets of San Francisco, reaching out to homeless youth and young adults on their turf. We work with young people who others have given up on, who would not get help without us. Since we started 13 years ago, we have worked with more than 5,000 youth, helping them build outstanding lives.
